IMDID is an international organization of volunteers who are doing amazing things in their countries. The headquarters is in Accra, Ghana. As of September 2018, IMDID successfully registered participants in 15 countries including but not limited to The Gambia, Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, Togo, Canada, Mexico, Benin and Sierra Leone. The Gambia chapter was officially registered in October 2018, poised to be a model in Africa and beyond.
The Gambia chapter has three main areas of intervention; ICT Capacity building training for corporate bodies, state departments and individuals; Leadership and Management training; and Health Care interventions in less privileged communities.
IMDID – Gambia strives to become the beacon of hope that will ensure the nations’ workforce has the requisite skills needed to effectively and efficiently live up to their daily tasks. We will partner with training institutions and departments to offer free interactive sessions that will be designed after a thorough training needs analysis of their staff. This will go a long way in ensuring that the training offered meets the expectations of the beneficiaries, and hence an improved performance in their jobs.
The doors of IMDID – Gambia are open to all and sundry. We are confident this initiative will greatly bridge skills deficiency in our workforce.
